If you're a paranormal lover, then MIND WAVES is perfect for you. It's all about mind hacking! MIND WAVES tells the story of David, a mind hacker, a Government operative, and a real charmer. He can control minds and people's thoughts. Here is an example: “Okay, old man. Out with it. I don't have the strength to surf your mind right now”! The heroine is Grace, a struggling artist who accepts a job offered by David. She doesn't know what to expect from him and his full power, but a strong attraction and a game of mind hacking begin! Is David controlling Grace's mind to fall in love with her? That's what you'll discover when you read MIND WAVES. Suspense, danger, fantasy, and humor wrapped into one story! A READER'S OPINION REBEL OF ROSS is a captivating story penned by Scottish author, Mary Lancaster. The author's love for Scotland and history are evident in this sweeping medieval novel packed with romance and adventure. The addition of real people and events made the story that much more interesting. Christian and Adam are both strong and worthy characters among a large cast, and it takes a little patience to keep them (and the events) all straight in the beginning. A truly endearing love story set during a fascinating time and in a spectacular setting, REBEL OF ROSS offers readers of medieval romance everything they could possibly want. THE BOOK A READER'S OPINION What began as a betrothal from a young age, became an unforgettable romance for star-crossed lovers, Tisa O'Brien and Tadhg MacNaughton. The Seventh Son is a splendid tale of fascinating characters, heart-breaking betrayal, honour, glory, undeniable love, and adventure, all seeped in a historical journey with well-balanced dialogue and description. The author has done her research into the time period, and brings to life the beautiful Irish landscape. There are more twists and turns than I had expected, adding to the surprises and intrigue. Tisa’s new father-in-law is a wretched man who thinks himself more than he has the right, not to mention, seeing himself in Tisa's arms. Tadhg and Tisa find themselves in a twist of courtly politics, schemes, and danger. There was some unexpected non-standard sex, but I skipped it and thankfully it did not take away from the overall enjoyment of the story. Will Fate intervene and give these two lovers a way back into each other's arms, or are they doomed to suffer before they can find happiness? Willa Blair knows how to make a story come to life and sweep you away on a beautiful journey into the Highlands. His Highland Heart is so well written that the words flew on the pages! I simply could not put it down! This is a Scottish adventure you won't want to miss! I truly enjoyed every minute of it! It tells the story of these charming characters, Euan, Muireall, Calum, and Ella! It all started when Euan is shipwrecked and searching for his men when suddenly, he stumbles upon an almost drowned woman on the beach. Muireall, along with her two friends, are held captive by the enemy, Clan Ross. Euan and Muireall's lives will forever change as they find themselves in danger. As they spend time together, they will share secrets and start having feelings for each other. Can they escape the evil men of the Clan Ross? THE BOOK A READER'S OPINION Spooky, violent, and fantastic! A FEVER OF THE BLOOD by Oscar de Muriel is the first book I've read by this author, but it won't be the last. I was drawn to the book by the title, the description, and the amazing cover. The author did not disappoint this new-to-him reader. Historic Edinburgh is the perfect setting for the dark story that emerges. There were a few parts that were slow and didn't hold my attention but the author drew me in with his descriptions and characters. I felt the blizzard against my skin and I could picture McGray and Frey on the hunt. They are both excellent characters, even when Frey is being a pain. McGray was my favorite and so well-written. The supernatural elements were perfectly woven into this historical tale with plenty of skin-crawling and nail-biting moments. It is dark and violent but if you enjoy a good thriller and well-plotted story, then give A FEVER OF THE BLOOD a try. This book is part of a series, but is written as a stand-alone novel. I plan to go back and read book one. I like all of my characters to have flaws and quirks, the more the merrier. But the heroes have to be aware of their flaws and struggling to overcome most of them. There's a lot of twists and turns in this story, and it's also filled with mystery, suspense, and intrigue; all this with a touch of romance! It tells the story of Chloe, her son Davey, and Police Detective Ross Cullen. Chloe discovered she never knew the man, Jeff, who she had married . . . he simply vanished from her life! She tried to move on with her life, but danger still lurked around her. That's when Ross, who is investigating her husband's disappearance, enters her life and comes to her rescue. Will he be able to help her? Will he discover the true identity of Jeff? Together they embark on a journey of discovery, of lies, and secrets.
