If you are a horse lover and like romance, then Bev Pettersen's book, Millionaire's Shot, will be perfect for you! This author never disappoints me! Most of her stories include horses and the people who love them. This time we are introduced to the sport of polo. A world where the heroine, Cassie, used to excel, and where her ex boyfriend, Alex and his family own control this industry. When Cassie's grandfather suffers a heart attack, she returns to his family's small horse farm to help him, but this means seeing again—the man she once loved very much. Now, she doesn't want to get her heart broken again. However, meeting Alex again and his daughter Grace, will bring back lots of emotions! Their worlds collide and send sparks again! But Alex is not hers! Will destiny intervene and give them a second chance? Meeting Grace will create a new friendship between the girls. Grace is so sweet and charming. I loved her characters, and their story is filled with emotions! I found this sweet story so refreshing and well written!
